BEFORE each campout Make sure that clean coolers and dry boxes are given to the person buying food for the campout. Check lanterns and ensure that they are in good working order. Check water containers and clean as needed. Check patrol box against the patrol box contents list. Check patrol box hinges, latches, legs. AFTER campout Assign tents to go home for cleaning and drying. Keep a record of who took home the tent. Assign coolers and boxes for cleaning and keep a record. Empty water jugs and assign cleaning as needed. Ensure all knives have a sheath of cardboard or similar material. Check and repair lanterns as needed. Clean dutch oven as needed. Clean camp grill if necessary. Clean camp griddle if necessary. Check propane tanks and report empty tanks. Check propane fittings on stoves and lanterns and clean if needed. Report any missing or broken equipment. Use patrol gear list.
